August Boosts American Honda Sales by an Impressive 26.7 Percent

Things heated up pretty quickly for American Honda Motor Co. this summer. August in particular proved to be a strong month of sales. In fact, a new record was set with a total of 166,432 models sold and an overall increase over last year's August sales of 26.7 percent.

When looking at the brand's year-to-date sales, these remain strong as well with over a million models sold, an increase of 11 percent over last year. Drivers in the Fairfield, CA area and beyond just can't seem to get enough of the new Honda lineup.

Honda Supports Tornado Response Efforts with Generous Pledge and Supply Donations

As powerful tornados wreaked havoc on the Midwest last month, many of us felt helpless as we watched entire towns suffer from the destruction. Luckily with the disaster relief provided by the American Red Cross, assistance can be given to the families who were left homeless. This is of course all made possible by donations made to the Disaster Relief Fund like the one recently pledged by Honda. Honda CR-V Generates a Boost in April Sales to Claim Top Spot Among Crossovers

Here at Steve Hopkins Honda, one of our favorite models has become the Honda CR-V. We aren't the only ones that seem to favor this crossover either, as it recently outsold competitors in April with 26, 519 vehicles sold. Compared to last year's April record, this is an increase of almost 3,000 units. Although the second place competitor only trailed behind by less than 700 units, the CR-V proved that it was able to stand above the rest.
