Honda Receives Six "Best for the Money" Awards from U.S. News & World Report

Today, Honda announced that five of its vehicles captured six "Best Cars for the Money" awards from U.S. News & World Report. When selecting models for the awards, editors considered quality metrics including safety and reliability ratings, and value metrics including average price paid and five-year cost of ownership.

Takata Airbag Recall Expanded to Include 2003-2004 Model Year CR-Vs

Toward the end of last spring, more than 30 million vehicles, from 10 different automakers, including Honda, were recalled to replace frontal airbag assemblies. The airbags, which were made by major parts supplier Takata, contain inflators with defective metal cartridges loaded with propellant wafers. Due to deterioration, the wafers can burn too quickly, creating increased pressure, which could result in a dangerous explosion.
