When Honda announced the fall unveiling of the Honda Clarity Fuel Cell sedan, it didn’t plan for this kind of hype. The upcoming electric vehicle recently has been named as having the best range rating of any electric vehicle without a combustion engine, including fuel cell and all-electric cars in the U.S. The five-passenger, zero-emission car comes in Crystal Black Pearl, White Orchid Pearl and Bordeaux Red Metallic, and will launch in California later this year.

"Not only does the Clarity Fuel Cell fit five passengers and refuel in three to five minutes, it offers customers a driving range on par with gasoline-powered cars," said Steve Center, Vice President of the Environmental Business Development Office at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "The Clarity leads the pack with a 366-mile driving range rating, and with a growing network of hydrogen stations and fast fueling time, the zero-emissions family road trip is no longer science fiction."

Besides boasting an EPA range rating of 366 miles, with a refueling time of approximately three to five minutes using 70 MPa refueling stations, the Honda Clarity Fuel Cell sedan comes with a variety of other features. Drivers can look forward to Honda Sensing, a suite of safety and driver assistive technologies; Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; unique LED exterior lighting and 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels.
