The Honda Pilot has been one of our best sellers here at Steve Hopkins Honda, but it was certainly in need of a redesign. For the 2016 model year, Honda has addressed this need and completely revamped the crossover. Today, we learn all about the redesigned model

On the outside, the 2016 Pilot retains the same general proportions as the last-generation model, save for its extra 3.5 inches of length. Additionally, its look is completely new. The added length increases the cargo area by 1.3 inches in length, giving you a little more room for longer items.

Under its hood, the 2016 Pilot cruises in with a revised version of the 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. These numbers make the new Pilot more powerful than last generation by 30 horsepower and 9 pound-feet.

The 2016 Pilot will hit our showroom located at 2499 Auto Mall Pkwy, Fairfield, CA 94533 on June 18th at a starting price of $29,995 for the LX trim with two-wheel drive. We invite you to come by to check out what we have in stock, and take the new Pilot for a test drive.
