Well, folks, it's been almost three months now since Forza Motorsport 5 entered into our lives, and as much as we'd like to say that we've moved onto greener pastures, the obsession just continues to grow. Then again, when you spend all your days around new and used cars like ours here at Steve Hopkins Honda, can you really blame us?
And now that our favorite automaker has brought one of their fans' virtual Forza creations to life, we can only imagine what's next.
If you weren't there to see it take the stage at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, this one-of-a-kind 2014 Honda Civic Si Coupe was selected from 170 entries created by gamers across the globe. As for what inspired Honda and Turn 10 Studios to stage a contest such as this, for them, it was a natural bridge to gap.
"The passion and creativity of Forza Motorsport fans is a continuous source of inspiration to us," says Alan Hartman, studio manager for Turn 10 Studios, makers of the Forza Motorsport series. "Seeing cars like the design contest-winning Honda Civic come to life . . . is a testament to the power of the Forza Motorsport franchise to fuel creative expression among car lovers and videogame fans."1
