If you've ever been to an auto show or seen one on television, you may have been impressed by the cleanliness of the car engines. Would you like your car engine to look just as clean? While you probably won't be able to get it as perfect as they do in auto shows, you can achieve a very close outcome.
Start by buying a few cans of engine degreaser from a parts store in Fairfield, CA, or at Steve Hopkins Honda parts center. Be sure to disconnect the negative battery cable. Then, spray the entire engine with the degreaser, making sure that you spray any tight crevasses, which might be a little difficult to reach. If so, use a scrub brush with a handle. The degreaser must remain on the engine and external engine parts for 15 -30 minutes. Next, use a regular garden hose to wash away the degreaser and repeat as many times as needed for your desired outcome.
