If you're putting together an emergency roadside kit, then you're on the road to a much better scenario. Sometimes we just can't avoid a roadside emergency, but being prepared will make things go a little smoother. So, what should you pack? You should have a good First-Aid kit, and bottled water and non-perishable food items. You should also pack windshield washer fluid, a foldable shovel, and jumper cables. Don't forget to pack some sand, salt or cat litter, and flares or reflective triangles. You should have a flashlight and working batteries, a tow rope, cell phone and charger, and blankets and hand and foot warmers. You can also include a spare pair of clothes, and a can of fix-a-flat. Really, anything that sounds like it could help is a good item to include in your kit. Just make sure that you have one so that you’ve gotten prepared.
