Don't sell your vehicle short on its motor oil. It makes a difference which oil you use. If you're not sure which oil to use in your vehicle, don't sweat it-just look in your owner's manual. You can always consult with your oil change specialist, as well. Or, you can go off how and what you drive and what you use your vehicle for. For example, if you cruise around in a late-model, low-mileage vehicle, then a conventional oil is all you need. If you're the opposite and tow heavy loads and are in the high RPMs a lot, then a synthetic blend is in the cards for you. Otherwise, you probably should be using a synthetic oil. More and more vehicles these days require synthetic oil because of its high performance and enhanced durability. But it's always better to go with a higher grade rather than a lower one.
